Our Story
Born in the Mountains, Built on Trust
Your Trekking Guide was founded by Bikash Gurung, born and raised in the High Himalayas. After decades of guiding hundreds of trekkers and climbing major peaks, Bikash realized that the trekking industry needed a company that truly put safety, authenticity, and community first.
What started as a one-person operation in a small Lakeside office has grown into a team of dedicated professionals — guides, porters, operations staff, and cultural specialists — all united by a shared love for the mountains and a commitment to excellence.
Over 10 years, we have led more than 700 treks and welcomed 140 adventurers from around the world. Every trek reinforces what we believe: the Himalayas change people, and we are honored to be part of that transformation.
