Welcome to YourTrekkingGuide. By booking a trek, tour, or adventure program with us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking to ensure a smooth and safe Himalayan adventure.
1. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed only after we receive a deposit, typically 20% to 30% of the total trip cost. The remaining balance must be paid before the trip departure, usually upon your arrival in Kathmandu.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment systems, or major credit cards.
Surcharges: Please note that payments made via credit card may be subject to a standard bank processing fee ranging from 3.5% to 4%.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to cancel your trip, you must inform us in writing.

30+ Days Before Departure: Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure are eligible for a full refund minus any administrative costs.

15 to 29 Days Before Departure: A 40% to 50% cancellation fee of the total tour cost applies.

Less Than 15 Days Before Departure: Cancellations made less than 15 days before the trip starts are non-refundable.

Once a tour has started, no refunds will be made under any circumstances for unused sectors, early departures, or discontinued treks.

3. Trip Changes and Itinerary Modifications
Your safety is our top priority. We reserve the right to modify or adjust itineraries due to unpredictable weather conditions, health concerns, government regulations, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not held accountable for any changes or delays regarding domestic flights or helicopter schedules that may affect the itinerary.

4. Mandatory Travel Insurance
Adventure Vision Treks
All clients are strictly required to have comprehensive travel insurance. Your policy must cover emergency helicopter evacuation, medical treatment, trip cancellations, and high-altitude trekking or climbing activities. We strongly encourage you to verify with your provider that your policy covers the maximum altitude of your chosen trek.

5. Health and Fitness
Adventure Vision Treks
Participants must be in good physical and mental condition suitable for mountain trekking. Any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities must be disclosed to us at the time of booking. YourTrekkingGuide will not be held responsible for any health-related issues that arise during the trip as a result of undisclosed conditions.

6. Authority of the Guide
Adventure Vision Treks
Our licensed guides and staff are responsible for ensuring your safety and the smooth operation of the trip. Clients are expected to follow all instructions provided by the guide. If a participant fails to comply, behaves in a way that jeopardizes the group's safety, or causes annoyance to the local community, the guide has the authority to terminate their participation immediately without a refund.

7. Passports, Visas, and Permits
Adventure Vision Treks
We handle the acquisition of your necessary trekking permits and documentation. However, it is solely the client's responsibility to provide accurate personal details.

Passport: All clients are required to have a valid passport with at least six months of validity remaining from the date of entry into Nepal.
Green Valley Nepal Treks
Visa: Obtaining a Nepal tourist visa is the responsibility of the client; it can be acquired at the embassy prior to departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu.

8. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Adventure Vision Treks
Adventure travel in the Himalayas involves inherent risks, including but not limited to altitude sickness, unpredictable weather, and challenging terrain. By joining our trips, you acknowledge and fully accept these risks. YourTrekkingGuide is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, damage, delays, or additional expenses caused by circumstances beyond our direct control (Force Majeure).

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Government of Nepal. Any disputes arising from our services or these terms will be handled strictly under Nepalese legal jurisdiction.
